- 2We get back to you. Your coach or the front desk reaches you within 4 hours, the way you asked, to set up the first session.
- 3Pay online. Your coach or the front desk sends a payment link for a single lesson or a pack of 4 or 8. Every session is paid before it happens.
- 4First session, then training. The first session shows the coach where the player stands. Premium one-on-one is the coach’s call, and some players start in pack lessons. Pack lessons may be small groups with players at the same level.

No cash. Paid up front.
Every lesson, pack and camp is paid online before the session.
Can I pay cash at GEARS?
No. GEARS does not take cash. Every lesson, pack and camp is paid online before the session, through the payment link your coach or the front desk sends.
When do I pay for lessons?
Up front, starting with the first session. When your coach sets it up, you get a payment link for a single lesson or a pack of 4 or 8. A session is on the calendar once it is paid.
What happens if we miss a lesson?
Tell your coach ahead of time and the lesson is moved, or goes back on your pack. Miss it without notice and it counts as used.
Are GEARS lessons one-on-one?
Not always. Premium lessons are one coach and one player. Pack lessons can be small-group sessions: after the first session, your coach may pair your player with others at the same level.
How fast will GEARS get back to me?
Within 4 hours, counting the hours from 8 am to 8 pm. A request sent in the evening or overnight is counted from 8 am, so you hear back by noon the next day at the latest. Your confirmation email gives the exact time.
Where does GEARS train?
GEARS trains at two indoor facilities: The ACE at 1276 Callen Street in Vacaville, and The Bears Den in Sacramento. Both are indoors, so training runs all year, rain or not.
Who can train at GEARS?
Baseball and softball players of any club or school. You do not need to play for a particular team to train at GEARS.
